Happy New Year Everyone! I’m back with yet again another maxi dress. I seriously cannot help myself when it comes to boho maxi dresses. This one I got at a boutique in Seal Beach called Stitch and Feather. I would make my new year’s resolution to stop buying maxi dresses, but I’d only be setting myself up for failure.
I absolutely love the beaded details on the flutter sleeves. Such a nice and girly touch to this monochrome dress.

I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season and a happy new year. I went on a 2 week hiatus from blogging to spend the holidays with my family but I’m back now! With each passing year, I’m grateful that I got another year filled with laughs, tears, and a ton of pictures. Looking ahead, 2017 is going to be the scariest and most exciting year of them all. This year I’ll be getting married to my best friend. As amazing as that’s going to be, it’s going to be an emotional roller-coaster for me.
My dad told me the biggest life changes he’s experienced have been getting married and having a baby (mostly having a baby). Well we’re definitely not having a baby any time soon, but getting married still tops my list of Chelsea’s Life Changing Moments. I’ll be stepping out of my comfortable adolescent life and become a real life grown up. Let me tell you, I’m scared out of my mind! Who wouldn’t be? But we all have to grow up some time.
There’s still so much to do before the wedding! We just took our engagement pictures this weekend with our wedding photographer Mary Costa and I can’t wait to see how they turned out. Once we get the final pictures we’ll be picking out save the dates and sending them out as soon as we can. This month our main focuses are to finalize the guest list, send save the dates, book an officiant, and shop for bridesmaid dresses.
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you’d like to keep up with our wedding journey stay tuned!
